About Me

Professional

Like many, my journey to the realm of information architecture and user experience has been circuitous, with stops in unexpected places: microbiology, quality control for diagnostic test kit manufacturing, technical support, and marketing operations.

This background has given me a holistic and user-centered view of the entire “information supply chain.” I’m able to approach problems with a broader perspective than those who have spent their entire careers in the software/tech industry.

The ultimate test of your taxonomy should be whether or not the person using it to classify a thing (during data entry) can consistently select the correct item(s) from a dropdown menu.
